Solve for x

How to solve for x
Example 1: solve 3x 10 = 2x 5
Solution:
Step 1: First write the equation, in this equation we have to find the variable of x
3x + 10 = 2x + 5
Step 2: subtract 10 on both side, we take only left hand side
3x + 10 – 10 = 2x + 5 - 10
3x = 2x - 5
Step 4: subtract 2x on both side
3x – 2x = 2x – 5 - 2x
x = -5

Triangle Square

Triangle square:

Find the area and perimeter of triangle whose side 12 cm.

Sol:

All sides of equilateral triangle area equal.

Side of triangle, a = 12 cm

Area of the triangle (A) = a2 x

= 122 x (1.732/4)

= 144 x 0.433

= 62.352 cm2

Perimeter of equilateral triangle (P) = 3a

= 3 x 12

= 36cm

Help with Math word problems
A rectangle allowance the abject of the allowance is 28m and acme of the allowance 22m. The amount of bark the allowance is $18 per aboveboard meter; acquisition the absolute amount for white abrasion the absolute room.
Solution:
Let abject of the allowance b = 28 and
Height of the allowance h = 22.
The blueprint for breadth of the rectangle = abject Г— acme Therefore 28 Г— 22
= 616 sq. meters.
The amount of bark 1sq. beat is [$] 18,

A line plot

A line pot

In order to plot a line plot a horizontal line is drawn with an appropriate scale with units matching the given information. For an occurrence of a number in the information an x is marked above the corresponding number on the plotted line. If the number is repeated another x is marked above the earlier x. This step is completed for the whole information. The resulting figure is called as a line plot.

Linear Programming

Linear Programming Examples:

Step1. Identify the unknowns in the given LPP. Denote then by x & y.
Step2. Formulate the aim function in terms of x & y. be sure whether it is to be maximized or
minimized.

Step3. Translate all the constraints in the kind of linear inequations.
Step4. Solve these in equations simultaneously. Mark the common area by shaded region. This is the

feasible region .
Step5. Find the coordinates of all the vertices of the feasible region
Step6. Find the worth of the aim function at each vertex of the feasible region.
Step7. Find the values of x & y for which the aim function

Acute angle

What is acute angle:
Example 1: Is there is a chance for a triangle to have more than 1 obtuse angle?
Solution:
Step 1: Let the angles of the triangle be L, M and N. Let L be the obtuse angle.
Step 2: The sum of all angles in any triangle is 180º. L + M + N = 180º.
If L > 90º then M + N must be less than 90º. Therefore, M and N must be acute angles.
Answer: No, triangle can have maximum one obtuse angle only.

Meters to centimeters

Meters to centimeters:

Example 1:

The Scale A 25 millimeter in one hour. The second scale B 8 millimeters in one ground. What is the difference between the Scale A and B?
Solution:

Here scale A and scale B having the speed in unusual units. Here they must convert the speed in the equal unit and find the difference between Scale A and Scale B.

Scale A = one millimeter = 0.1 centimeter

So 25 millimeter = 25 * 0.1 = 2.5 centimeter

Scale B = 8 millimeter

Difference = 2.5 - 0.8 = 1.7 centimeter
