A line pot

In order to plot a line plot a horizontal line is drawn with an appropriate scale with units matching the given information. For an occurrence of a number in the information an x is marked above the corresponding number on the plotted line. If the number is repeated another x is marked above the earlier x. This step is completed for the whole information. The resulting figure is called as a line plot.
